  2. Presenters are expected to be present at their assigned screen (as listed) during breakfast (0900-1000hrs) and lunch (1300-1400hrs) on both days to answer delegate queries regarding your poster.
  3. Posters should be created using Microsoft PowerPoint in landscape orientation with only one slide in 16:9 ratio.
  4. The total size of the presentation should not exceed 20 MB. The poster should include the following sections (as separate elements): Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion & Acknowledgments.
  5. The poster should be arranged in a clear and logical manner, with the text kept to a minimum. The font size, including figure legends, labels, symbols, and graphs, should be large enough to be legible on a 55-inch screen.
  6. Illustrations, images, or photographs used in the e-poster should be large enough to show relevant details clearly.
  7. Videos & animations are not allowed in your poster.
  8. Your presentation must be emailed to ypcon2024@gmail.com by 5:00 PM on December 19, 2024, so that it can be loaded onto the respective screens. Please mention “E-poster for Upload” in the subject line, and include your name and screen number in the body of the email.
  9. We request that all delegates arrive on time for their presentation slots.
  10. Certificates will only be given to participants who are physically presenting their posters at the conference.

Guidelines for Free paper presentation

  1. Symposia will be held in Hall C in the Paramedical Building (adjacent to the Auditorium building) on both days.
  2. Date and time of presentations will follow the schedule attached.
  3. The time duration for each symposium is 45 minutes, including the Q&A session.
  4. Due to the tight program schedule, the allocated time will be strictly adhered to. Participants will be stopped if the time limit is exceeded.
  5. It is responsibility of participants to ensure they are present at the venue at their allotted time of presentation.
  6. Personal laptops are not allowed on the podium as per conference policy. Presentations must be uploaded onto the conference laptop in Hall C at least an hour before your session starts (between 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on 21st and 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM on 22nd). Make sure with the AV person that your presentation is in order.
  7. It is recommended to bring a backup copy of your presentation in case of any technical issues.
  8. ONLY MS-PowerPoint (*.ppt and *.pptx) presentations are accepted. Please ensure your file is compatible for display. If using unusual fonts, remember to embed them in your file.
  9. If using video clips, upload all necessary files separately, as these do not get embedded into the presentation. Please store both your PowerPoint and video files in one folder.
  10. Material on slides must be of an adequate size to be clearly visible to all delegates. Limit the number of slides so that you can comfortably finish within the allotted time limit.
  11. Certificates will only be given to participants who are physically presenting their symposium at the conference.
